Roger Waters' tribute show to Pink Floyd's golden era, with the Harry Waters Band recreating songs from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall.
Legacy comes to Sheffield City Hall on Tuesday 22 June 2027, a Pink Floyd tribute show created under the direction of Roger Waters. It's a new live production built to celebrate the music and visual world of the band's golden era, 1971–1979, and it's playing in the Oval Hall.
A ten-piece band plays selections from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall, and they've set a specific goal: to recreate the original recordings as close to note-for-note as possible. The show runs for more than two hours, and it's backed by a pictorial retrospective of imagery inspired by the original Pink Floyd work. Those visuals were created by Roger Waters himself during his time as the band's creative force, and they'll be shown on high-definition LED screens.
Leading the music is Harry Waters, a longtime touring musician, pianist and composer who serves as musical director. He's no stranger to the material: his voice appeared on 'Goodbye Blue Sky' from The Wall, he saw the original production as a child, and he spent over 15 years touring alongside his father on shows including The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and the 2016 Desert Trip concerts. On the night, he'll be fronting The Harry Waters Band on B3 organ, piano and vocals.
