Self-directed life drawing session for the LGBTQ+ community, run by Kweer Sheffield, at Hagglers Corner.
KWR Life Drawing V14 is back on Thursday 29 October at Hagglers Corner, 586 Queens Road in Lowfield. It's the fourteenth session of the series, run by Kweer Sheffield and open to the LGBTQ+ community, for ages 18 and over.
It's a self-directed life drawing class, which means you're in charge of your own work rather than following a teacher's lead. The session runs for two hours, and they provide the bar and the paper, so you only need to bring your own drawing and painting equipment. If you're just starting out, a few pencils and a sketchbook will do; if you're more established, you can bring whatever paints or charcoal you prefer.
This particular edition is a return to a new venue the group is trying out, so it's a good chance to see how the space works for a drawing night. The series continues after this, with V15 scheduled for 18 November, so if you miss this one, there's another coming up soon. Tickets for V14 are sold out, but it's worth keeping the dates in mind for the next one.
