One of the world's most recognised Slipknot tribute bands, with all nine members, masks and costumes, recreating the full Slipknot experience.
Knotslip are back in Sheffield on Saturday 6 February 2027, playing The Foundry at Sheffield Students' Union. They're a Slipknot tribute band, and they've played the city before — their previous date at The Leadmill sold out, so this is a return to the same ground.
What sets them apart from a standard cover band is the scale they go for. They put all nine members on stage, each in the masks and costumes that define the Slipknot look, and they build the whole show around that. The set focuses on the band's early years, with the crushing riffs and thunderous percussion that made them a global phenomenon. They describe it as a relentless, high-energy live show, and the anthems are played as a full-band experience rather than a stripped-back version.
It's a tribute that leans into the theatrical side of the original band as much as the music. The masks and costumes aren't just a nod to the aesthetic; they're a core part of the act, and with nine people on stage, the stage presence is a big part of what they're after. If you've followed Slipknot from the start, that early era is exactly where they're drawing from.
