Knit and Quiz Night

Sheffield Yarn Shop is hosting a Knit and Quiz Night on Friday 4 December, a cosy evening that brings together two things that usually don't share a room: knitting and a trivia quiz. The whole night is built around Gilmore Girls, so the questions will be focused on the show, its characters, and the fast-talking world of Stars Hollow. If you've spent your fair share of time with Lorelai and Rory, you'll have plenty to work with here.

The format is straightforward: you bring your current project and knit while the quiz runs alongside. It's a social one, so you'll be working and answering questions at the same time, with prizes up for grabs for the winning rounds. If you're mid-way through a jumper or just starting a scarf, it's a good excuse to get some stitches in while you test your knowledge of the series. A hot drink is included in the price, which fits the vibe of a cold December night in the city.

It's held at Sheffield Yarn Shop, over in the Grafters Yard at 63 Herschell Road, Sheffield S7 1BT. The night runs from 6pm to 8pm, so it's an early one that gets you home well before the weekend properly kicks in. Tickets are £5.90, and that covers your entry, the quiz, and your drink.
