Workshop for children to paint pumpkins at the Cutlery Works on Neepsend Lane.
Cutlery Works is hosting a Kids Pumpkin Painting Workshop this Sunday 18 October, starting at 10:00. It's a straightforward one: children get their own pumpkin to paint, so it's a proper activity for a Sunday morning rather than just a quick look-around. If you've got little ones who'd rather paint their pumpkins than carve them, this is exactly that.
Painting is a bit easier to manage than carving, too. There's no knife work involved, which means you can let them get stuck in without hovering quite so closely. It's the kind of thing that works well for younger kids who aren't ready for the carving part yet, or for anyone who'd rather have a colourful pumpkin on the doorstep than a hollowed-out one. And because it's a workshop, the pumpkins are provided, so you don't have to worry about lugging them home from the shop beforehand.

The venue is Cutlery Works, over at 73-101 Neepsend Lane, Neepsend, Sheffield S3 8AT. It's a good spot for a morning out in the city, and since it kicks off at 10:00, you'll have the rest of your Sunday left over once the painting is done. It's a simple, focused session: pumpkins, paint, and a bit of creative time for the kids to work through. If you're looking for something to do with them this weekend that doesn't involve a lot of fuss, this fits the bill. It's £3.00 per child, and it runs on Sunday 18 October from 10:00 at Cutlery Works.
