Halloween-themed craft session for children to make their own Halloween bear in four styles at Cambridge Street Collective.
Cambridge Street Collective is running a Kids' Halloween Build a Bear session on Saturday 24 October, from 10:00 to 11:30. It's a Halloween-themed craft activity for children, held at their space in the city centre, and it's one of the things they've got on for the October half-term.
The whole thing is built around the idea of making-do: instead of just buying something off a shelf, the kids get to make their own Halloween bear. There are four different styles to choose from, so it's not just one thing for everyone. Among them are a Pumpkin Bear and a Pumpkin Cat, which should go down well with anyone who's already in the Halloween spirit. It's a hands-on session, and they'll leave with something they've actually put together themselves.
It's a morning slot, so it fits into a Saturday without taking up the whole day. If you're in the city centre on the 24th, it's an easy one to slot in. The session runs from 10:00 to 11:30, giving plenty of time to get the bear sorted and still have the rest of the day for whatever else you've got planned.
