Kemah Bob returns with her much anticipated second stand-up show, Love Child, directed by Alison Spittle.
Kemah Bob brings her second stand-up show, Love Child, to the Sheffield Plate on Saturday 27 March 2027. It's part of her UK comedy tour, and the show is directed by Alison Spittle.
Bob is a Houston-born comedian, writer, producer and drag king now based in London. Love Child is her second show, and she describes it as intimate yet rowdy, personal yet electric and high-energy. It's already picked up some attention: The Guardian named it one of their 10 Best Comedy Shows of 2024, and that same year it earned her an ISH Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer.
Outside of the stand-up, she's the founder of the FOC (Femmes Of Colour) IT UP! Comedy Club and a regular commentator on diversity and LGBTQ+ representation. You might have caught her on QI, Richard Osman's House of Games, Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club and Comedy Central Live, or heard her on the Off Menu podcast. Love Child follows her previous Fringe runs, including Bob and Buds in 2018 and Miss Fortunate in 2024.
