Escape Hunt is running Jewel of India in Sheffield on Tuesday 27 October. It's an escape room experience for two, though the game works for larger groups too, and the whole thing is themed around the Jewel of India.
If you've never done one, the basic idea is that you and your partner are locked in a room and have to solve a series of puzzles to get out before the clock runs down. It's a race against time, so you'll be working together to crack codes and piece together clues. The Jewel of India theme gives the whole thing its specific setting, and you'll be tackling it at Escape Hunt's Sheffield site.

One of the better things about this particular game is how the pricing works. It's set up so that the more people you bring, the cheaper it gets per person. For two players, it's £30 each; three players drop to £27; four players are £23; five players are £22; and six players come in at £21. If you're a student, you can get 15% off, and over 60s get 10% off, both Monday to Thursday with a valid ID. Since this one falls on a Tuesday, those discounts apply. You can book for just the two of you, or gather a few more friends and bring the cost down.
