Jack Savoretti performs live at Sheffield City Hall as part of his 29-date UK and European tour, following the release of his ninth studio album.
Jack Savoretti plays Sheffield City Hall on Thursday 5 November, part of a 29-date UK and European tour that he's calling his biggest to date. The UK and Ireland leg alone makes up 15 of those dates, so Sheffield is one of the main stops on the run.
It's a busy year for him. Back on 10 April he released We Will Always Be The Way We Were, his ninth studio album, which he recorded at Eastcote Studios in West London with his long-time touring band. The record marks 20 years since his debut, Between the Minds, and he describes it as a return to the raw storytelling and cinematic soul of his earliest work. The title track made the BBC Radio 2 A List, and he performed it on Graham Norton.
Before this tour, he's had a few other dates on the calendar: a one-off night at the Royal Albert Hall that sold out in under an hour, and headline shows at De Montfort Hall in Leicester and the Liverpool Philharmonic. The Sheffield date sits within that same run of UK shows, so it's part of the same tour that's taking him across the country and over to Europe.
