Self-guided urban walking adventure, like a treasure hunt and outdoor escape room, guided by the Go Quest Adventures app, with one ticket covering up to five people.
Go Quest Adventures has a self-guided treasure hunt running from Sheffield Station, and the best part is that it's completely flexible — you play whenever you like, so you can fit it around your own day rather than working to a set time. It starts at the station on Sheaf Street, in the heart of the city centre, and from there it's a walking adventure through the streets.
It's a bit of a cross between a treasure hunt and an outdoor escape room. You're guided by the Go Quest Adventures app, following a trail of clues and puzzles that lead you past some of the city's famous sights and a few of its hidden gems. As you go, you earn points, and there's a city Leader Board to see how you stack up against other players. It takes roughly two and a half to three hours to complete and covers about two miles, so it's a decent length of a walk without being an all-day commitment.

One ticket costs £28.95 and covers up to five people, so you don't need separate tickets for a small group — if you've got more than five, you'll need two or more. It's recommended for ages 10 and over, with children under 16 needing adult supervision, and it's pet-friendly, so you can bring the dog along. The app is in English only. It's a good one for a group of friends or a family day out in the city.
