Sheffield's biggest Halloween event, an immersive 18+ 'Purge' night with masks, eerie visuals and a Best Dressed Reward at Tank.
Halloween Purge takes over Tank on Thursday 29 October, billed as Sheffield's biggest Halloween event. It's not your usual club night, and the name isn't just for show: the promoters pitch it as 'The Purge Experience', where the rules are gone, the masks come out and the city descends into beautifully orchestrated madness. The whole thing is built on immersive chaos and eerie visuals rather than just a DJ set, so it's more of a themed night than a standard night out.
There's a 'Best Dressed Reward' in the mix, with exclusive VIP treatment for the most terrifying look, so if you've been working on a costume, this is the night to bring it out. Entry is strictly 18+, and the tickets come with a bit of a strange refund policy: you get a full refund if you aren't accepted into your preferred university, or you can transfer the ticket to another city. It's a nod to the student crowd that makes up a lot of the city's nightlife, so keep that in mind if you're buying in advance.
