Halloween Art Party

Kalyna Art Studio is hosting a Halloween Art Party on Saturday 24 October, from 6pm to 9pm, at their space on 10 Carver Street in Sheffield City Centre. It's an all-ages evening, so it works as a night out with friends or something to bring the family along to.

The main draw is the painting: you'll be working on two spooky neon artworks, both Halloween-themed, and you'll take them home with you. The neon part is what sets it apart from a standard paint night, so it's a good shout if you're after something a bit more vivid than the usual acrylics. You don't need to be an artist to get stuck in, either—it's more about the process than the end result.

There's plenty more to it than just the painting. The ticket includes themed cocktails, so you can sip while you work. There's karaoke running throughout the night, a best costume contest for anyone who turns up dressed up, and a Halloween photo zone to document the whole thing. Between the painting, the drinks, the singing, and the costume contest, it's a full evening rather than just a single activity.

It all goes down at Kalyna Art Studio, 10 Carver Street, S1 4FS, in the heart of the city centre. The party runs from 6pm to 9pm on Saturday 24 October, and tickets are available through Eventbrite.
