Grace Petrie

Grace Petrie plays The Foundry on Friday 16 October, her only Sheffield date this autumn. She's a folk singer-songwriter who's spent the last few years building a name for herself on the UK circuit, and this is her first time back in the city since her last tour.

It's a straightforward bill: Petrie is the sole name on the poster, so the whole night is hers. She'll be performing her own songs, the folk-led songwriting that's become her hallmark, and the set will be built around that. If you've followed her work, you'll know the sound — acoustic-driven, with her voice and guitar at the centre.

The Foundry is inside the Sheffield Students' Union, over at S10 2TG, so it's easy enough to find if you're coming from the city centre. The show starts at 19:00, and since she's the only act on the bill, you won't be waiting through a long list of supports before she takes the stage.

If you're planning to go, it's worth keeping the time and location in mind: Grace Petrie, Friday 16 October, 19:00, at The Foundry, Sheffield Students' Union, S10 2TG.
