A soul and dance night featuring classic dancefloor favourites including Northern Soul, Motown and club hits from the 1960s and 1970s.
Goldsoul: Soul Night Out takes over Sheffield City Hall Ballroom on Friday 23 October, and it's a big one. Rather than a single room, the night spreads across three: the Main Room, the Northern Room and the Modern Room. Each one runs its own selection of Northern Soul, Motown and club hits from the 1960s and 1970s, so you can drift between them throughout the night.
Having three rooms means the different sounds get their own space. The Northern Room is for the Northern Soul, the Main Room for the Motown, and the Modern Room for the club hits, all from the same era. If you've got a particular favourite, you can stick with it, or move between them as the night goes on.

It's a late one, too. It kicks off at 21:15 and runs until 01:30, so there's plenty of time to work your way through the rooms. The venue is Sheffield City Hall Ballroom, Barkers Pool, Sheffield, S1 2JA.
