Grassroots Sheffield folk night with Imaginary Friends, Cherry B and Deadly Changes to celebrate the director of Red Pen Promotions' 53rd birthday.
Imaginary Friends, Cherry B and Deadly Changes are playing the Arundel Emporium on Saturday 16 January 2027. It's a grassroots Sheffield folk gig, and the night is billed as '3 Fabulous Bands to Celebrate the Director of Red Pen Promotions' 53rd Birthday!' — so the whole thing is a birthday bash for Glenn, the man behind Red Pen Promotions.
That's the three acts on the bill: Imaginary Friends, Cherry B and Deadly Changes. Each gets their own slot, so you'll get three different sets across the evening rather than one long jam. It's folk music, and the whole thing is put on by Red Pen Promotions, the same outfit that's putting on the night for its own director.

The venue is the Arundel Emporium on Matilda Street in the city centre, about a ten-minute walk from Sheffield rail station. It's a central spot, so it's easy enough to get to whether you're coming from within the city or arriving by train. The music starts at 19:00 and is listed to finish around 23:00, which gives you a full evening of folk without it running too late into the night. Tickets are £10.
