Over-18s spirits festival with more than 120 gins, rums and tequilas to sample, a cocktail bar, a live DJ and a band.
The Gin & Rum Festival comes to Trafalgar Warehouse on Saturday 28 November, one of its many stops across the country. It's now in its eighth year, and the organisers describe it as the UK's biggest touring gin and rum festival and the nation's largest festival dedicated to spirits, with more than 200,000 people having gone through the doors over the years. The Sheffield stop is for one weekend only, so it's a one-off rather than a long run.
Inside, there are more than 120 premium gins, rums and tequilas to sip and sample, with a cocktail bar running alongside. You'll also find tastings from award-winning guest distillers, so there's a good mix of the big names and some smaller, independent labels. A live DJ and a band keep things moving throughout the day, and the whole thing is over-18s only.

Each festival kit comes with a reusable steel cup, a straw and a free Gin & Rum guide to help you keep track of what you've tried. There's also a free 'Drink on Exit' tipple to take home with you. The venue, Trafalgar Warehouse, is a stylish 1930s industrial space in the city centre, so it's easy to get to and has plenty of room to move around. It runs from 12:30 to 22:00, which gives you a full ten and a half hours to work your way through the spirits if you're planning a proper session. Tickets are between £11.24 and £23.71, booked via Skiddle.
