Live show by laptop-grunge duo Getdown Services, touring their second album, at the Octagon Centre in Sheffield.
Getdown Services play the Octagon Centre on Saturday 5 December, part of their Massive Champion Tour. They're a laptop-grunge duo from Minehead who call themselves 'Britain's Best Band', and the sound they're touring is a mix of dancefloor rhythms and electronic production played alongside guitar-driven rock and irreverent lyrics. The set is built around their second album, which they're taking out on the road in a raucous live format.
The show is presented by Futuresound. It was originally booked for the Foundry, but it's since been upgraded to the Octagon, so if you've already got tickets from the first announcement, they're still valid. The date is currently listed as sold out, so unless you're one of the lucky ones who got in early, you'll have to keep an eye out for returns.
