Gameshow All Stars: Game Ticket and Beer for Two

Gameshow Allstars is open at Orchard Square in Sheffield city centre, and it's a bit of a one-off for the city. It's a game-show-themed activity bar where you pit friends, family or colleagues against each other in a series of high-tech mini-games inspired by classic TV game shows. A dedicated games host leads the way, and there's a prize ceremony for the winners at the end. It's the first bar of its kind in the UK and the only one in Sheffield, with similar spots in Leeds and Nottingham.

Around the games, the bar serves house pizzas and a full stock of beer, wine and cocktails. If you're bringing a group, there's a team-building package that bundles game tickets, two house drinks and a buffet meal. It's pitched as a spot for gatherings, corporate events and parties, with customisable packages for stag and hen dos and children's birthdays.

On the practical side, the venue sits on the second floor of Orchard Square with no lift access, so keep that in mind if you're coming with anyone who struggles with stairs. After 9:00pm, it's exclusively for adults. Tickets start from £17.00 per person, with students and under 18s paying £14.00. There's also Student Wednesdays at £6 per person with a valid student ID, though that doesn't run in December. If you're not sure when you'll make it, gift vouchers are an option: the recipient books a date that suits them, and they've got 12 months from purchase to use it. You'll find it at Orchard Square, entrance on Leopold Street, Sheffield City Centre, S1 2FB.
