Friday Breakthrough x Barclays Eaglelabs: Open Workspace & Collaboration

Venture.Community is hosting a Friday Breakthrough session with Barclays Eagle Labs on Friday 6 November, from 10:00 to 16:00 at Venture.Community HQ in the city centre. The day is led by Gunjan Gurung, Ecosystem Manager for Barclays Eagle Labs South Yorkshire.

If you're not familiar with the format, the Friday Breakthrough is Venture.Community's weekly catalyst for momentum. It's built on the idea that venture is a team sport and that no founder should have to solve every problem in isolation. It runs as a collaborative, open workspace where you bring the specific roadblock you're stuck on and the expertise you know best, and leave having tangibly advanced your own project while helping a peer solve a critical challenge. The day is framed around 'The Collective Bargain', leveraging the collective intelligence of Sheffield's startup ecosystem, with complimentary tea, coffee and snacks throughout.

It's a straightforward setup: you turn up with your work, get stuck in, and trade your knowledge for some of someone else's. The session is open to all Venture.Community members, with membership costing £10 a year. You'll find the HQ at Pennine Five Campus, Block 3, Floor 1, Tenter Street, Sheffield City Centre, S1 4BY, and it runs from 10:00 to 16:00 on Friday 6 November.
