Free Christmas craft session for children to make reindeer food and festive 'Please Stop Here' signs for Santa at Cutlery Works.
Cutlery Works is hosting a free Christmas craft session for children on Thursday 24 December, the day before Christmas. It runs from 10 am to 12 pm, so it's a morning thing rather than a full day out, and it's free to take part.
There are two things on the table. The first is making reindeer food — the kind of magical mix you're supposed to sprinkle on the lawn on Christmas Eve to make sure the reindeer can find the house. The second is making a 'Please Stop Here' sign for Santa, which is basically a way for the kids to tell him exactly where to land. They can do one or both, and they'll come home with whatever they've made.
It's held at Cutlery Works, which is a food hall in Neepsend, home to a bunch of independent food vendors and built around a communal dining experience. It's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, and it regularly hosts family-friendly activities and workshops like this one. If you're already in the area, it's a handy place to bring the kids for a bit of festive making before the big day.
