Free children's workshop to design and decorate their own Christmas stocking with festive materials.
Cutlery Works is hosting a free kids' stocking designing session on Monday 21 December, just a few days before Christmas. It runs from 10 am to 12 pm, so it's a morning thing rather than an afternoon or evening one, which works well if you're trying to fit it in around the school run or other holiday plans.
The idea is simple: children get to design and decorate their own Christmas stocking using a variety of festive materials, and they take it home with them ready for the holidays. It's a hands-on activity, so it's more about the making than just sitting and watching. Since they get to keep what they make, it doubles as a bit of early Christmas prep — one less thing to sort out before the big day.
It's organised by Cutlery Works, and you'll need to book your place through Eventbrite. The session is free, so there's no cost for the materials or the space, and it runs for two hours, giving the kids plenty of time to get stuck in without feeling rushed. If you're looking for a low-key way to spend a morning with the kids during the December break, this is a good shout.
