FREE Kids Pom Pom Snowman Making

Cutlery Works is hosting a free pom pom snowman making workshop for kids on Saturday 12 December, from 10 am to 12 pm. It's a two-hour session, so it's a decent stretch of a morning to get the little ones occupied while the winter weather starts to set in.

The idea is simple: each child makes their own pom pom snowman to take home. It's a hands-on craft, and the best part is that all the materials are provided on the day, so you don't need to turn up with a bag of wool and a crochet hook. Once they've finished, they get to keep what they've made, which is always the bit they're most keen on.

It sits among Cutlery Works' family and education offerings, so it's part of a wider programme of things for kids rather than a one-off. If you've got a few young ones at home, it's a straightforward way to spend a Saturday morning in December, and because it's free, it doesn't cost anything to get them involved. The workshop runs at Cutlery Works, 73-101 Neepsend Lane, Neepsend, S3 8AT, in Sheffield. Tickets are booked through Eventbrite, so you'll want to get yours sorted in advance rather than just turning up on the day.
