Free Kids Fake Snow Making Workshop

Cambridge Street Collective are running a fake snow making workshop for children on Monday 21 December, just a few days before Christmas. It's held at their space, Cambridge Street Collective, at 11 Backfields in Sheffield City Centre, S1 4HP.

The session is a hands-on one: children make their own fake snow from scratch rather than just playing with a pre-made kit. They'll get to mix the ingredients together and see the snow form right in front of them, and they'll take a pot of it home to keep the magic going over the Christmas break. It's the kind of thing that works well if you've got kids who're already asking for snow before the holiday has even arrived.

It's a morning session, running from 10:00 to 11:30, so an hour and a half in total. That's enough time to get the mixing done and still have a bit of room to play around with it before you head off. It's free to attend, and since it's in the city centre, it's an easy one to drop into if you're already around the Backfields area.

So, if you're looking for something to keep the smaller ones occupied on a Monday morning in late December, this is a good shout. It's free, it's hands-on, and they get to take something home with them. Monday 21 December, 10:00 to 11:30 at Cambridge Street Collective, 11 Backfields, Sheffield City Centre, S1 4HP.
