Freaky Friday Bingo 30/10 - Buzz Bingo Sheffield Parkway

Buzz Bingo Sheffield Parkway is doing a Halloween special on Friday 30 October, a two-hour session they've called Freaky Friday Bingo. It runs from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, and it's for over-18s only, so it's more of a night out than a family affair.

There's a booking-exclusive package for £10 that bundles your bingo with a main meal and a drink. If you'd rather keep them separate, members can split it into a bingo package for £3.50 and a main meal with a drink for £650. The drink part gives you a choice: draught Carlsberg or Somersby Apple Cider, any house spirit with a draught mixer (except Pepsi), or a standard tea, coffee, hot chocolate or 16oz soft drink. So, if you're not in the mood for a pint, you can still get your meal and your bingo without paying for a drink you won't touch.

When it comes to the bingo itself, you can go with traditional paper books or switch to touchscreen tickets. The venue claims you're five times more likely to win on the touchscreens, as they give you 30 tickets instead of six. It's a fair bit more to keep track of, but if you're playing for the win, that's the one to go for. If you prefer the old-school way of crossing off numbers by hand, the paper books are still there.

Tickets are sold through Skiddle, and they don't take credit cards on the door, so you'll want to get yours sorted in advance rather than turning up and hoping for the best. The whole thing is at Buzz Bingo Sheffield Parkway, 299 Cricket Inn Road, Sheffield, S2 5AU, on Friday 30 October, 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
