Screening of the Forza Milburn documentary marking 20 years of the band's debut album, followed by a Q&A with the band members.
Forza Milburn are coming to The Steamworks on Sunday 25 October for a screening of the documentary made about them. It's not just a film showing, either: the band will be there in person, and once the credits roll, they'll stay on for a Q&A session hosted by Warp Films' Amy O'Hara.
The documentary marks twenty years since their cult debut album, Well Well Well, first came out. It's produced and directed by Andy Nicholson and Gary Scaife, and having the band there to talk through it afterwards turns the whole thing into something more than a projection. If you've spent years listening to the record and wondering about the story behind it, this is your chance to hear it from the people who actually lived it.
Forza Milburn have always been one of those Sheffield bands that people talk about in a particular way—a cult act with a dedicated following rather than a chart-topper. Well Well Well is the record that started it all, and this screening is built around that anniversary. The Q&A is the real draw here, as it lets you ask questions and get answers directly from the band members themselves, with O'Hara leading the conversation.

The screening runs from 4 pm to 8 pm on Sunday 25 October at The Steamworks, 109-111 Randall Street, Highfield, Sheffield S2 4SJ. Tickets are £11, and the bar stays open until 10:30 pm, so there's plenty of time to hang around and talk after the Q&A finishes.
