Two-hour workshop to make nourishing facial treatments using natural, food-based ingredients, with a facial lymphatic nodes massage.
Foodface is running a facial workshop at the Bradbury Makers' Shed in Hillsborough Park on Thursday 10 December, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. It's a two-hour session, and doors open ten minutes early at 2:20 pm.
The whole point is to learn how to make nourishing facial treatments using natural, food-based ingredients. You'll be working with things you'd recognise from a kitchen rather than a chemist's shelf, and the idea is that you'll leave knowing how to put them together yourself. It's a practical, hands-on afternoon, so you'll be making as much as you're learning.
Alongside the making, there's a demonstration of facial lymphatic nodes massage. It's a gentle technique that uses light, rhythmic strokes to move excess fluid from the face towards the lymph nodes in the neck and collarbones. It's the kind of thing that's easy enough to take home and do yourself once you've seen it done properly, so it fits right in with the rest of the workshop.

The session is led by Hamra, and it's open to anyone aged 16 and over. Tea and coffee are provided, so there's something to drink while you're at it. It runs for two hours, and tickets are £20. The Bradbury Makers' Shed is in Hillsborough Park on Parkside Road, Sheffield S6 2AB.
