Workshop by Art By Elesha to design, carve and print your own handmade Christmas cards on lino.
Art By Elesha is running a festive print workshop at Raccoon Studios on Thursday 12 November, from 7pm to 9pm. It's a proper hands-on session: you'll design your own patterns, carve them into lino, and print them onto handmade card, so you walk away with a set of unique, handcrafted Christmas cards to send out. The whole thing is run by Elesha, and the evening finishes off with treats and hot drinks.
It's a good one to bring someone along to, too. Under-16s are welcome as long as they're accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, so it works as a family thing if you've got younger ones who fancy getting stuck in. If you've never tried lino printing before, this is a decent way to start—you get to go through the whole process from the first sketch to the finished print in one sitting.

Raccoon Studios is on Exchange Street in Sheffield City Centre, S1 2AX. The session runs from 7pm to 9pm, so it's a mid-week evening thing rather than a full day. There are three ticket options: an unwaged ticket for £14, a standard ticket for £20, and a solidarity ticket for £30. You pay a £5 deposit to book your spot, and the rest is payable at the class.
