Sheffield garage-punk and psychedelic band Femur play Delicious Clam in the city centre.
Femur are back in Sheffield on Friday 29 January, playing Delicious Clam at 12 Exchange Street in the city centre. It's a headline show, with the band as the only act on the bill.
If you've followed them for a while, you'll know they've spent the last few years working their way up. They're a garage-punk and psychedelic outfit from right here in the city, and BBC Introducing Leeds & Sheffield have had them down as 'One-to-Watch'. That tag has held up: they broke out of the UK in 2024 with sold-out shows in Paris and a headline slot at a Biarritz-based festival, alongside back-to-back London dates and a Jarred Up appearance.
2025 saw them step up a gear. They played their first Glastonbury, took an inaugural main-stage slot at Tramlines alongside Fat White Family and Pulp, and put on a monster headline show at the Leadmill. 2026 opened with their biggest headline date to date at Crookes Social Club, part of their largest ever UK tour, before they returned to Tramlines, End Of The Road and Attitude. Along the way, the press has been on them, too: Exposed Magazine called them 'the best in the city at what they do' in 2025, and Local Sound Focus described them as 'addictive' back in 2022.
