Immersive day-to-night festival of live music, art, DJs, talks, creator stalls, food and drinks presented by Baggy Canvas x Sensoria.
EMBER takes over Trafalgar Warehouse on Saturday 24 October, from 3pm to 9pm. It's a day-to-night festival built around getting Sheffield's creatives networking and connecting, and this edition is presented by Baggy Canvas and Sensoria. The funding comes from Arts Council England, Sheffield City Council and the UK Government.
It's a broad one, with live music, art, DJs, talks, creator stalls, food and drinks all packed into a single Saturday. The day-to-night format means you can drift in for a few hours in the afternoon or stay on until the end, and the mix of music, art and stalls gives you plenty to do regardless of when you arrive. The creator stalls are a good place to see what people are making across the city, and the talks keep the conversation going between sets.
Closing out the event from 7pm to 9pm is Linga Sound, a Sheffield-based DJ, selector and producer who also holds a residency at Kitchen Radio. He runs the monthly listening session Sound Service Station, and for this set he'll be digging into a deep selection of jazz, funk and percussive grooves to carry the night through to the finish.
