Free Halloween market of handmade, second-hand and strange items held in a warehouse space in Sheffield.
The Fairly Odd Halloween Market is at Trafalgar Warehouse on Sunday 25 October, running from 10:30am to 4:00pm. It's a one-off Halloween edition of the markets run by The Fairly Odd, and it's free to get in.
If you've been to one of their other markets, you'll know the pitch: they lean towards the handmade, the second-hand and the genuinely strange rather than the usual candle-and-print circuit. The Halloween edition keeps that same spirit, so expect more of the odd and the offbeat than the standard high-street fare. It's a one-day thing, so if you're after something specific, it's worth getting there early.
The venue is Trafalgar Warehouse, part of the Iq Student Accommodation at 49 Trafalgar Street (S1 4JT), which puts it about a two-minute walk from the Devonshire Quarter. It's a warehouse space, so there's plenty of room to wander through the stalls without feeling squeezed. It's also fully wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets on site, and dogs are welcome, so you don't have to leave them at home.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind if you're planning your visit. There are quiet hours without music at 10:30am and 2pm, which is handy if you're sensitive to noise or just want a calmer browse. Children are welcome, though they'll need to be supervised at all times. Entry is free, and it runs from 10:30am to 4:00pm on Sunday 25 October.
