Einaudi Tribute Concert in aid of the Cathedral Archer Project

Ondine Events are putting on an Einaudi Tribute at Sheffield Centre Unitarian Church (Upper Chapel) on Friday 23 October, a full evening of Ludovico Einaudi's solo piano music. All the proceeds go to the Cathedral Archer Project, so it's one of those nights where your ticket does a bit more than just get you through the door.

The programme is a proper run through his solo work, with twelve pieces in total. You'll get the well-known ones like Nuvole Bianche, Experience and Divenire, alongside Le Onde, Indaco, Fly, Primavera, Oltremare, Elegy for the Arctic, Reverie, In Un Altra Vita and I Giorni. It's a broad selection, so you'll hear the more melodic, familiar side of his writing as well as the slower, more atmospheric pieces.

The performance runs for 90 minutes, which includes a 20-minute interval to stretch your legs. It's a solo piano set, so it's just the music and the room, without any other accompaniment. If you're bringing anyone younger, under-16s have to be accompanied by an adult.

It's at the Upper Chapel of the Sheffield Centre Unitarian Church on Norfolk Street, right in the city centre. Doors open at 19:00, and the music runs from 19:30 to 21:30. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
