South African Amapiano DJ EEMOH brings his Afropiano show to Onyx Nightclub in Sheffield, part of his UK tour.
Eemoh brings Amapiano to Onyx Nightclub on Saturday 14 November, part of a UK tour that takes him through several cities. The South African artist is the sole name on the bill, and he's billing the night as Afropiano.
If you're not already familiar, Amapiano is the sound that's been moving out of South Africa and across the globe over the last few years. It's a house music derivative with deep basslines, percussive melodies, and a slower, more laid-back tempo than the dance music you'll usually find on a Saturday night. Eemoh describes this particular show as bringing that sound live and up close, and the Afropiano label he's using for the night points to the blend of Amapiano with broader Afrobeat influences.
Sheffield is one stop on a wider run. The tour also hits Birmingham at Cave, Manchester at Xscape Manchester, and Glasgow at Enish, so this is one of a handful of dates he's playing across the UK. Tickets are sold through Fatsoma.

The night runs late: it starts at 10:30 PM and goes until 4:30 AM, so it's a proper club set rather than a short concert. Entry starts from £10, and you'll find Onyx Nightclub on Rockingham Street in Sheffield City Centre, S1 4EA.
