Halloween-themed disco night for LGBTQ+ and non-binary sapphics from Sheffield, hosted by Steel City Sapphics and DJ Heather Paterson.
Steel City Sapphics are putting on the Disco Divas Sapphic Spooktacular at CADS on Saturday 24 October, a Halloween disco night in Sheffield. It's hosted by Steel City Sapphics, an established organiser of queer events in the city, and they've billed it as a safe, fun and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ and non-binary sapphics from Sheffield and the surrounding areas to dance and socialise.
On the decks is DJ Heather Paterson, who'll be providing the music for the night. The whole thing is strictly 18+, so it's an adults-only one. If you're coming from outside the city centre, it's worth knowing that CADS is on Arley Street, S2 4QP, and they've got accessible parking on site.
They've put a fair bit of thought into making the venue easy to get around, too. There's step-free access and wheelchair accessibility throughout, and they've got accessible toilets. There's also a quiet space available if you need a break from the dancefloor, which is a handy thing to have when the night gets going. It's all held at CADS, on Arley Street in the S2 4QP area of Sheffield.
