Bi-monthly networking evening with a presentation by Andrew Betts of Danieli UK, followed by dinner and conversation on the future of steel in South Yorkshire.
Cutlers Connect returns to Cutlers' Hall on Tuesday 27 October, with Andrew Betts, Managing Director of Danieli UK, taking the floor. It's the next instalment of a bi-monthly evening series that brings together Freemen, Associate Freemen, Friends and guests for discussion and networking, all under the overarching theme 'Steel Built Our Region. Now It's Forging Our Future.'
The format is straightforward: a speaker's presentation followed by dinner and conversation. It's as much about the talk as it is about the people in the room, and the bi-monthly pace means it's a regular fixture for anyone following the conversation around the industry. Betts comes from Danieli UK, a name well-known in the world of steel plant engineering, so he's talking from inside the trade rather than looking in from the outside.

The evening is held at Cutlers' Hall Hospitality, 7-15 Church Street in the city centre, S1 1HG. It starts at 17:30, and tickets are £52.72, which includes the booking fee. They're issued through LMS, so you'll need to sort yours there rather than at the door. If you've been following the series, you'll know the drill: the talk sets the stage, and the dinner is where the real conversation happens.
