Halloween-themed cheese cake cooking activity at Sheffield Plate in Sheffield city centre.
Cook Stars are running a cheesecake cooking activity at Sheffield Plate on Tuesday 27 October, and it's a proper hands-on one. The whole session runs from 3:00 to 4:15 in the afternoon, so it's a good shout for a mid-week treat rather than a late night. You'll spend an hour and fifteen minutes getting stuck into making a cheesecake from scratch, and since it's a cooking activity, you're the one doing the work rather than just watching someone else do it.
Sheffield Plate is right in the city centre at 31-33 Orchard Square, S1 2FB, which makes it easy to get to if you're coming from anywhere in Sheffield. It's a central spot, so you won't be trekking far to find it. The activity is led by Cook Stars, who run these kinds of cooking sessions around the city, and this one is all about the cheesecake.

Tickets are £12.50 and you can pick them up through Eventbrite. It's a short session — just over an hour — so it doesn't take up your whole day, and you'll walk away with something you've actually made. If you've been wanting to try your hand at baking without having to clear out your own kitchen afterwards, this is a decent way to do it. It runs on Tuesday 27 October from 3:00 to 4:15 PM at Sheffield Plate, 31-33 Orchard Square, Sheffield City Centre, S1 2FB, for £12.50.
