Interactive, immersive comedy murder mystery hosted by professional actors with a three-course dinner for two, with a best-dressed prize.
Napoleons Casino in Sheffield is hosting a comedy murder mystery evening on Friday 6 November, with a three-course dinner for two. It's an interactive, immersive night run by professional actors, so you're not just watching a play from your seat — you're part of the story. The plots change, with themes ranging from Sherlock Holmes to Hollywood, and the venue encourages everyone to turn up in fancy dress, with a prize for the best dressed of the night.
Because the themes rotate throughout the year, the setting depends on when you go. Some nights lean into 1920s Sherlock Holmes, others go for Monks & Nuns, 1901 Moulin Rouge, or Cult Movie. There's also a 1920s Archaeologists theme, The Mystery of the Golden Scarab. If you're planning a trip around it, the casino also runs weekend break packages built around the dinners, so you can make a full weekend of it rather than just the one evening.

It's a three-course dinner for two, and the ticket is £30. If you're into the fancy dress side of things, it's worth getting your costume sorted early — there's a prize for the best dressed, so there's a bit of competition to it as well as the mystery itself.
