Comedy Murder Mystery Evening with Three Course Dinner for Two

Comedy Murder Mystery is coming to Mercure Sheffield Kenwood Hall and Spa on 30 October and 13 November, with dates continuing into 2027 on 29 January, 26 February and 26 March. It's a murder-mystery dining experience that leans as much on comedy as it does on the mystery: professional actors play the suspects and guide the case as it unfolds, and the room is filled with jokes and banter throughout.

One thing to keep in mind is that it's not a single story told over and over. It's a format that offers different plots set in different eras, so you might find yourself in the 1920s with speakeasy gangsters or as the lord or lady of the manor throwing a soiree. As the characters mingle, you get close to the suspects and have to work with the other guests to decide who did it, cracking codes, deciphering red herrings and piecing clues together until the killer is revealed.

The night runs for about three and a half hours, with a meet and greet at 7:30pm and the dinner beginning at 8:00pm. You're welcome to turn up in fancy dress, which fits the bill if you're in the mood to lean into the theme. Tickets are £89.00 for the evening, which includes the three-course dinner.
