Family-friendly show that fuses musical theatre with circus acts, presented by Britain's Got Talent stars Max Fox and Christian Lee.
Cirque: The Greatest Show comes to Sheffield City Hall on Wednesday 7 April 2027, playing the Oval Hall. It's a family-friendly one, so it's as much for taking the kids along as it is for going with friends.
The show sits somewhere between a West End musical and a circus ring. It's built around a soundtrack of musical theatre classics, with the songs carried by live vocalists and the gaps filled by circus acts. The two run side by side rather than one taking over from the other, so you get the big numbers you'd expect from a theatre stage paired with the kind of things you only see in a circus.
On the circus side, that means acrobatics, balancing acts, and feats of agility. On the musical side, it's the West End showstoppers. The production premiered in 2026, and those who saw it then described it as bolder, braver and more breathtaking than before. It's returning with daring acrobatics, impressive balancing acts, powerful live vocals and striking theatrical moments.
