Christmas at The Last Laugh

Last Laugh Comedy Club is bringing a Christmas special to Sheffield City Hall on Thursday 3 December, with the night running from the Memorial Hall. It's one of the city's favourite comedy nights, and this one is billed as a festive edition with about two hours of stand-up, a full bar and a Christmas atmosphere. The show is for ages 18 and over.

Barry Dodds is on the compering, and his energy and crowd work are what hold the night together — the kind of thing that makes every show feel a bit different from the last. He's joined by Bethany Black, whose act is described as razor-sharp, and Dawn Bailey, a storyteller with a warm, hilarious approach. Then there's Pete Otway, who's being called one of the UK's fastest-rising comedy talents. Between the three of them, you've got a good mix of styles to get through the evening.

Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm, so there's plenty of time to get a drink in before things kick off. General admission is £20, which comes to £22 with the £2 booking fee. If you're bringing a group, there's a guaranteed table of six for £120, which is £127.50 with the £7.50 booking fee. The venue is Sheffield City Hall, Memorial Hall, Holly Street, Sheffield S1 2JA.
