CHILLCON Sheffield 2027

CHILLCON returns to Sheffield on Saturday 20 March 2027, taking over The Sheffield College - Hillsborough College on Livesey Street. It's now in its ninth year, and it's built a name for itself as one of the North's biggest tabletop and wargaming conventions, known for a family-friendly environment and a relaxed atmosphere. This is the organiser's second weekend show in the city, and the day mixes competitive and social strands, so you can go in for one specific thing or just drift between them.

On the competitive side, there's a 'Bitz Blitz' where you build an epic figure in twenty minutes, and a free-to-enter Painting Competition. If you're more into the social side, there are seminars led by iconic industry figures and a 'Hobby Clinic' where you can chat with Golden Daemon winners and painters featured in Forge World. There are speed-painting sessions too, and a free-to-play board games library run by a games master, so you don't even need to bring your own games to get a few rounds in. The traders' hall will be there as usual, and the Bring & Buy raises money for the charity Models for Heroes.

It's a family day, so under-16s are welcome as long as they're with a parent or legal guardian. Parking is free, and the venue is The Sheffield College - Hillsborough College, 30 Livesey Street, Sheffield S6 2ET. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
