Charity Halloween fancy dress party with a DJ, magician and best costume competition, with proceeds to Western Park Cancer Charity.
The Charity Halloween Ball returns to The Ball Inn in Crookes on Friday 30 October, running from 18:30 to 23:30. It's a recurring Halloween party that the organiser bills as 'the most fun Halloween bash of the year', and this year's edition is presented by Natalie Garrett.
There's a fair bit to do on the night. A DJ keeps the music going, and you'll find a magician, a photographer, and a caricaturist working the room, so there's more to it than just dancing. Food is available on site, and there's a best fancy dress competition, which gives you a reason to actually put the costume together rather than just turning up in a t-shirt. It's a family-friendly affair, with children welcome until 10pm, so it works as a night out with the kids as much as a later one with friends.
The evening is running for a cause: proceeds go to Western Park Cancer Charity. It's a local Sheffield charity, so the money stays in the city.
