Beginner-friendly two-hour workshop to make and hand-paint your own ceramic pumpkin with local artist Holly.
Cambridge Street Collective is hosting a ceramic pumpkin painting workshop on Tuesday 20 October, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. It's a two-hour session where you make and hand-paint your own ceramic pumpkin, with all the materials provided on the night, so you don't need to bring anything with you.
Local artist Holly leads the whole thing, guiding you step by step through the process and offering tips, tricks and inspiration as you go. The session uses acrylic paints rather than glazes, which means there's no kiln involved — you can take your finished pumpkin home the same evening rather than leaving it behind to be fired.
It's pitched as a relaxed, beginner-friendly activity for curious learners, students and anyone looking for some hands-on, practical expertise in a focused, interactive setting, and as a way to brighten up your autumn décor. If you've never worked with ceramics before, this is a good place to start, as the step-by-step guidance takes the guesswork out of it.
