Over-18s Christmas carol sing-along with live music, Christmas treats and drinks at the George & Dragon, with proceeds to Life Dronfield.
Carols in the Pub comes to the George & Dragon on Friday 11 December, from 8pm to 10pm. It's run by Life Dronfield, a local charity, and the whole night is built around a sing-along of Christmas songs and carols, with live music to lead the way. The plan is simple: you sing along to the songs you know, and the live music keeps things moving.
There's a bit more to it than just the singing, though. A tuck shop will be open with Christmas treats on sale, and the bar is open for drinks throughout the evening. It's framed as a night to bring a friend or two, reminisce, have a laugh and a good time, and the sing-along format means you don't need to be a singer to join in.

Everything raised from the night goes to Life Dronfield's local work, so the entry fee is a donation to the charity. It's an over-18s event, and the whole thing lasts around two hours. Parking is free at the venue, which is the George & Dragon at 2 Main Road, Sheffield S18 7WT. Tickets are £5, and it runs from 8pm to 10pm on Friday 11 December.
