London metal and hardcore band Burner play Corporation in Sheffield with support from WORN OUT, in a 14+ night.
Burner are playing Corporation on Wednesday 28 October, with support from Worn Out. It's a mid-week one, so you'll be back home on a working night rather than a weekend.
Burner are a London band who fuse hardcore and death metal with streaks of black metal into something heavy and deliberate. Their debut album, It All Returns To Nothing, came out on Church Road Records. The sound they're working with draws on a wide range of influences: Trap Them, Darkest Hour, Gatecreeper, Converge, Bolt Thrower and The Acacia Strain. They've built a reputation for an energetic live performance, so it's a set that's more about the room than the record.
Opening the night are Worn Out, a four-piece metal and hardcore band from Cork, Ireland. Their EP Low came out in August 2024, so they're still relatively fresh off that release. Between the two, you've got a London band and a Cork band on the same bill, both coming from the heavier end of the hardcore and metal spectrum.
