Over-18s club night with Broken Format and Hybrid Theory, a multi-genre journey through underground electronic dance music.
Broken Format are taking over Decks Bar on Saturday 24 October, with Hybrid Theory and friends on the bill. It's a daytime one, running from 14:00 to 22:00, so it's more of a long afternoon and evening than a late-night shift.
Broken Format describes the day as a boundary-breaking, multi-genre journey through underground electronic dance music. That's a fair bit of ground to cover in eight hours, and the 'multi-genre' part is the point here: it's not about sticking to one sound, but moving across a few different corners of the electronic underground. Hybrid Theory is the main name on the bill, with other guests joining in throughout the day.
Decks Bar is over in Neepsend, at the Steelyard on Bardwell Road, so it's a bit of a trek from the city centre if you're not already around the S3 area. If you're coming from town, it's worth keeping that in mind when you're planning your travel.

One thing to be clear on before you head over: it's an over-18s event, and they'll be checking photo ID at the door, so make sure you've got yours on you. The music runs from 14:00 until 22:00, which means it wraps up well before midnight, so you're not looking at a late one.
