Wine tasting evening at The Wonky Labrador where guests sample wines from the venue's previous tasting events.
The Wonky Labrador is hosting its fourth Bottle Banquet on Thursday 19 November, starting at 19:00. It's a dining event that does something a bit different from your usual tasting night: instead of a single theme or a new arrival, the evening brings together a range of wines from the venue's previous tasting events.
If you've been along to their other tastings, you'll know how they work. Each one focuses on a particular region, producer, or style, and the Bottle Banquet gathers those together into one sitting. It's a way to sample several of the bottles that have come through the door over the last few events in one go, rather than having to pick and choose individual nights. If you've missed a few of the earlier ones, this is a good way to catch up on what's been poured.
The night is a dining event, so it's built around food as much as the wine. You'll be tasting through the selection over the course of the evening, with the wines coming from the Labrador's own tasting history. It's a bit of a retrospective on what they've been pouring lately, served up as a meal.
