Social deduction board game session run by The Gamers Guide storytellers, suitable for beginners and experienced players.
Blood on the Clocktower is back at The Gamers Guide on Sunday 18 October, starting at 18:00. If you've never come across it, it's a social deduction game played in groups: one person takes the role of the storyteller, and everyone else is assigned a secret role. Some players start with a bit of information, others have a hidden agenda, and the whole thing is about figuring out who's who while trying to keep your own identity under wraps.
The Gamers Guide storytellers run the sessions with varied scripts, so the setup changes from night to night. They describe the vibe as friendly and inclusive, and they make a point of welcoming beginners alongside experienced players, so you don't need to have played before to jump in. The evening is rounded off with the cafe's usual menu, which means you can stick around for a drink or a bite after the game wraps up.

It's a Sunday evening session, so it works well if you're looking for something to do that doesn't clash with a working week. The Gamers Guide is at 8 E Parade, right in Sheffield City Centre (S1 2ET), and the entry is £7, paid in person at the start of the event rather than through a booking portal. The game kicks off at 18:00.
