Bloc Party and Interpol co-headline a tour spanning their discographies, supported by Heartworms.
Bloc Party and Interpol are co-headlining Utilita Arena Sheffield on Saturday 28 November, with Heartworms supporting. It's a double bill that puts two bands from the same era on one stage, and they're both drawing from their full discographies rather than just a single record. Bloc Party's set will reach back to their debut Silent Alarm, and Interpol's will pull from Antics, their second album.
There's a bit of history here, too. The two bands have shared stages before: they toured the UK together back in 2004, and they co-headlined a run of shows in Australia in 2023. This Sheffield date is part of an 18-date tour across the UK and Europe in 2026, so it's one of the few times they'll be playing together this year.
Between them, they're covering more than twenty years of music. Bloc Party's Silent Alarm came out in 2005, and Interpol's Antics followed in 2004, so the songs they're pulling from those records are from the same general period. With both bands playing sets that span their entire catalogues, you'll hear the early stuff alongside the later records. Heartworms open the night.
