Big Gory Halloween Quiz

The Big Gory Halloween Quiz takes over The Steamworks on Friday 30 October, a few days before Halloween itself. It's a themed trivia night run out of the venue at 109-111 Randall Street in Highfield, and it's built around horror movies. If you've spent your fair share of time watching slashers, this is the one to get your lot together for.

The whole night is geared towards horror movie buffs, so the questions lean heavily into that territory. It's less about general knowledge and more about how well you know your slashers, so if you've got a particular fondness for the genre, you'll have plenty to work with. You'll be competing in a themed setting, with the quiz as the main event.

There's a bit of a competitive edge to the night, too. The more people who play, the bigger the prize pot gets, and it's not just about the winner's pot — there are bar tabs and drinks up for grabs alongside the quiz itself. So if you're the type who likes a bit of stakes with their trivia, it pays to bring a crowd.

It runs from 20:00 to 23:00, so it's a proper evening out rather than a quick drop-in. Entry is £3 per person, and you'll find it at The Steamworks, 109-111 Randall Street, Highfield, Sheffield S2 4SJ.
