A 90s boyband tribute show with chart anthems, classic ballads and dance moves, plus a disco and late bar until 1 AM and a two-course dinner.
Battle of the boybands comes to The OEC on Saturday 24 October, billed as 'Battle of the 90s Boybands'. It's a night built around the golden era of the boyband, with the set pulling from chart-topping anthems, classic ballads and the decade's boyband bangers, alongside the iconic dance moves and 90s nostalgia that went with them.
The OEC is one of Sheffield's grass-roots venues: a small-capacity room where the act is close to the floor and support acts often draw as much attention as the headliner. The evening runs for four and a half hours, from 7 PM to 11:30 PM, and the ticket includes a choice of a two-course dinner, so it's as much a meal as it is a show. After the main act finishes, there's a disco and a late bar running until 1 AM, which means you can keep going well after the music on stage has stopped.
